Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 20 September 2026 · Effective: 20 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CSExams.com, including its website, online practice examinations, courses, study materials, question banks, flashcards, accounts, and related digital services (collectively, the "Services").
CSExams.com is operated by:
Legal Entity: SEKURENET LIMITED
Registered/Principal Address: International House, 61 Mosley Street, Manchester, M2 3HZ
Email: info@csexams.com
For the purposes of these Terms, "CSExams.com", "CSExams", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the above entity. "You", "your", and "User" refer to the person accessing or using the Services.
By accessing the website, creating an account, purchasing a product, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
1. About CSExams
CSExams provides educational and exam-preparation resources, including cybersecurity and information-security certification practice examinations, question banks, explanations, flashcards, articles, guides, and related learning materials.
The Services are intended to assist users in preparing for professional certification examinations. They are educational resources and are not a substitute for official training, certification examinations, or materials published by the relevant certification provider.
We may add, modify, discontinue, replace, or update individual Services or portions of the website from time to time.
2. Eligibility and Use by Minors
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.
If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
The Services are not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under applicable law. We do not knowingly permit children to make purchases or create accounts where doing so would violate applicable law.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided personal information or created an account contrary to applicable requirements, please contact us using the details provided above.
3. Account Registration
Certain Services require you to create an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information;
- maintain and promptly update your account information;
- keep your username, password, authentication credentials, and other account information confidential;
- use your account only for yourself; and
- immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise of your account.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you can demonstrate that the activity occurred without your authorization and despite your reasonable security measures.
We may require additional verification where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, payments, or intellectual property.
4. One Account Per User and Account Sharing
Unless we expressly authorize otherwise, an account is assigned to one individual user.
You must not:
- share your account credentials with another person;
- permit another person to access paid content through your account;
- sell, transfer, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise provide your account to another person;
- allow multiple individuals to use a single paid account;
- create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, pricing, access limits, or account suspension; or
- use another person's account without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that account sharing, credential misuse, fraud, abuse, or another violation of these Terms has occurred.
5. Services and Practice Examinations
CSExams may offer free and paid practice examinations, question sets, courses, flashcards, study materials, and other educational resources.
Product descriptions, prices, number of questions, examination sets, attempt limits, access periods, features, and other product-specific conditions may vary between products.
The details displayed on the relevant product page and at checkout form part of the applicable purchase.
We may update, correct, replace, remove, or revise questions, explanations, answers, study materials, or other content from time to time, including to reflect changes in certification objectives, terminology, technology, or our quality-review process.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a practice examination does not entitle you to receive future products, future versions, or additional products that are separately offered for sale.
6. Educational Purpose and Certification Disclaimer
CSExams provides preparation and educational materials only.
We do not guarantee that use of any CSExams Service will result in:
- passing any certification examination;
- achieving a particular examination score;
- obtaining or maintaining a certification;
- obtaining employment, promotion, compensation, or any particular career outcome; or
- achieving any particular professional result.
Certification examinations are controlled by their respective certification providers. Certification providers may change examination objectives, question formats, eligibility requirements, scoring methods, policies, or examination content at any time.
CSExams cannot guarantee that any practice question, explanation, topic, or simulated examination will appear on, correspond exactly to, or predict an official examination.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, CSExams does not provide actual confidential, proprietary, restricted, or unauthorized examination questions.
7. Independent Certification Provider Status
CSExams is an independent exam-preparation platform.
Unless expressly stated on the relevant product or page, CSExams is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or otherwise associated with any third-party certification provider referenced on the website.
Third-party names, certification names, trademarks, logos, and other marks belong to their respective owners.
References to certifications, examinations, vendors, technologies, products, or standards are provided for identification and educational purposes.
Examples may include certifications or organizations associated with CompTIA, ISACA, ISC2, EC-Council, and other third parties. Such references do not by themselves imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
8. Orders and Purchase of Paid Services
When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.
An order may be accepted, rejected, cancelled, or limited by us for legitimate reasons, including:
- suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
- pricing or listing errors;
- technical errors;
- inability to process payment;
- duplicate orders;
- violation of these Terms; or
- unavailability or discontinuation of the relevant product.
A purchase is considered accepted when we issue an order or purchase confirmation, unless we subsequently identify a legitimate reason requiring cancellation.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund where required by applicable law and these Terms.
9. Prices, Taxes and Payment
The applicable price for a product is the price displayed at the time of purchase, subject to correction of genuine pricing or technical errors.
Prices may be displayed in currencies supported by the website and payment provider.
Applicable taxes, duties, fees, discounts, or promotional pricing will be displayed where applicable or as required by law.
Payment is processed using the payment method and payment processor made available at checkout.
You authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction for the amount presented at checkout.
We do not receive or store complete payment-card information where payment processing is handled directly by a third-party payment processor.
You agree not to use fraudulent, unauthorized, stolen, or otherwise unlawful payment methods.
10. Digital Delivery and Access
Paid products are generally digital products.
After successful payment, access may be provided through your CSExams account, dashboard, email, or another method specified at checkout.
The applicable product page or order confirmation may specify:
- the access period;
- number of examination attempts;
- number of question sets;
- device or browser restrictions;
- availability of explanations or other features; and
- any other product-specific conditions.
You do not acquire ownership of the underlying software, platform, question bank, source material, or intellectual property merely by purchasing access.
Your purchase grants you the limited access and licence expressly provided by these Terms and the applicable product description.
11. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Because CSExams primarily provides digitally delivered educational content, refund eligibility may depend on whether the purchased content has been accessed or materially used.
11.1 Refund window
Subject to applicable law, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of purchase where the paid digital product has not been materially accessed or used.
For purposes of this policy, material use may include, for example:
- starting or attempting a paid practice examination;
- accessing a substantial portion of the paid question bank;
- downloading or copying protected paid content;
- using substantially all or a significant portion of the paid learning materials; or
- otherwise using the product beyond what is reasonably necessary to determine whether the product is suitable.
11.2 Products already accessed or used
Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, a refund will generally not be available after a paid digital product has been materially accessed or used.
This restriction does not affect any statutory consumer rights that may apply to defective, misrepresented, inaccessible, or otherwise non-conforming Services.
11.3 Technical problems
If you experience a genuine technical problem that prevents reasonable access to a purchased product, you should contact us promptly.
We may first attempt to restore access, correct the problem, or provide an equivalent replacement.
Where the problem cannot reasonably be corrected, we may provide an appropriate refund or other remedy subject to applicable law.
11.4 Duplicate purchases
Where you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, contact us as soon as possible.
Where the duplicate purchase is verified and the additional copy has not been materially used, we may refund the duplicate transaction subject to applicable law and payment-provider requirements.
11.5 Refund method
Approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method or another method permitted by the payment provider.
Refund processing times may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.
11.6 Chargebacks
If you believe a transaction is incorrect, unauthorized, or subject to a refund, please contact us before initiating a payment dispute where reasonably possible.
We reserve the right to temporarily restrict account access while investigating a disputed transaction, suspected fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer-protection law.
12. Licence to Use Paid and Free Content
Subject to these Terms and successful payment where applicable, CSExams grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the relevant content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, you must not:
- reproduce, copy, download, photograph, screen-capture, record, or redistribute paid question banks or other protected content;
- publish questions or answers on another website, forum, social-media platform, messaging group, repository, or database;
- sell, rent, license, sublicense, transfer, or commercially exploit the content;
- share paid content with another person;
- scrape or systematically extract questions, answers, explanations, metadata, or other content;
- use automated tools, bots, crawlers, scripts, or similar mechanisms to collect content;
- create or distribute derivative question banks based substantially on CSExams content;
- reverse engineer or attempt to circumvent technical controls protecting the Services; or
- use CSExams content to operate a competing commercial service without written authorization.
Limited quotations or uses permitted by applicable copyright law are not prohibited by this section.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website, software, design, branding, text, graphics, question banks, explanations, databases, examination simulations, educational materials, and other content provided by CSExams are owned by or licensed to CSExams and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
You may not use the CSExams name, logo, trademarks, design elements, or branding in a manner that implies endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or authorization without our prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
14. User Reviews, Comments and Other Submissions
Where the website permits reviews, comments, feedback, questions, or other user-submitted content, you remain responsible for the content you submit.
You must not submit content that:
- infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
- is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, abusive, hateful, obscene, or deliberately misleading;
- contains malware or malicious code;
- contains confidential or proprietary information belonging to another person;
- impersonates another person or organization;
- promotes unlawful activities; or
- is primarily intended to advertise or solicit without authorization.
By submitting content, you grant CSExams a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, adapt, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, maintain, and promote the Services.
You retain ownership of your original content.
We may remove or restrict user-submitted content where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.
15. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Services to:
- violate applicable law or regulation;
- infringe intellectual-property or other rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, or networks;
- interfere with the operation or availability of the Services;
- transmit malware or malicious code;
- conduct automated scraping or unauthorized data extraction;
- bypass access controls or security mechanisms;
- manipulate examination results or system functionality;
- create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
- evade product, account, geographical, or access restrictions;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit paid content without authorization; or
- assist another person in carrying out any of the above.
16. Security and Service Availability
We take reasonable measures to maintain the security and availability of the Services.
However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be continuously available, error-free, or completely secure.
The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- updates;
- infrastructure failures;
- third-party service failures;
- internet or telecommunications problems;
- cybersecurity incidents;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
- other operational reasons.
We may temporarily restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, content, or the integrity of the Services.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or integrate third-party services, including payment processors, analytics providers, hosting providers, authentication services, email providers, advertising services, social-media services, and other technology providers.
Third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
CSExams is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.
The website may contain links to third-party websites. Such links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation.
18. Privacy and Personal Data
Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
We may process information necessary to create accounts, process orders, deliver products, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and operate and improve the Services.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notices and mechanisms relating to personal-data processing, consent, withdrawal of consent, access, correction, deletion, grievance handling, and other applicable rights.
Our Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.
The Privacy Policy is available at: https://www.csexams.com/privacy
19. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to maintain useful and accurate information on the website.
However, content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, typographical errors, or technical inaccuracies.
Certification objectives, technologies, standards, product features, prices, policies, and other information may change.
We reserve the right to correct errors and update website information without prior notice where reasonably appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes remedies required by applicable law where information was materially incorrect, misleading, or otherwise unlawful.
20. No Professional or Certification Advice
The educational materials provided by CSExams are general educational resources.
They should not be treated as legal, financial, employment, professional, security-incident response, or other specialized professional advice.
You remain responsible for independently evaluating information and determining whether and how it applies to your particular circumstances.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and "as reasonably provided" basis.
We do not represent or warrant that:
- the website will always be available;
- the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free;
- every question or explanation will always be completely accurate;
- the content will exactly correspond to any official certification examination;
- every product will remain unchanged for its entire access period;
- the Services will satisfy every user's individual requirements; or
- use of the Services will produce any particular examination, career, financial, or professional outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, condition, guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CSExams shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings arising from or relating to your use of the Services.
Subject to applicable law, the aggregate liability of CSExams arising out of or relating to a particular paid product shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that product during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
For free Services, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CSExams shall not be liable for losses arising solely from your use of those free Services.
Nothing in these Terms:
- excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded;
- limits rights or remedies that applicable consumer-protection law requires us to provide;
- excludes liability for fraud where such exclusion is prohibited by law; or
- excludes or limits any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CSExams and its officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- your material violation of these Terms;
- your unlawful use of the Services;
- your infringement of another person's intellectual-property or other rights;
- your misuse of your account; or
- content you submit to the Services that infringes another person's rights.
This section does not require you to indemnify us for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct to the extent such indemnification would not be enforceable under applicable law.
24. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to some or all Services where reasonably necessary because of:
- material breach of these Terms;
- fraud or suspected fraudulent activity;
- unauthorized payment activity;
- account sharing;
- unauthorized redistribution or copying of content;
- security threats;
- abuse of support personnel or other users;
- unlawful conduct; or
- conduct that materially threatens the integrity or security of the Services.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach.
Termination does not automatically create a refund entitlement unless provided by these Terms, the applicable product terms, or applicable law.
Sections relating to intellectual property, payment obligations, restrictions on use, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and other provisions which by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
25. Fraud, Abuse and Intellectual-Property Protection
We may investigate suspected fraud, piracy, account sharing, unauthorized distribution, scraping, or other misuse.
Where reasonably necessary, we may preserve relevant records and cooperate with payment providers, service providers, rights holders, regulators, courts, and law-enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable law.
We may take reasonable technical measures to protect paid content and prevent unauthorized access, copying, or redistribution.
26. Changes to Products and Services
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, product, question set, course, pricing, or other portion of the Services.
Where a material change substantially affects an already purchased digital product during its advertised access period, we will take reasonable steps to provide an appropriate remedy where required by the applicable purchase terms or law.
Nothing in this section requires us to provide indefinitely every product version or feature that existed at the time of purchase unless expressly promised as part of the purchase.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of the Terms will identify the current version.
Material changes may be communicated through the website, account dashboard, email, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of the Services after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes will not retroactively alter rights or obligations that have already accrued unless permitted by law or agreed by the parties.
28. Electronic Communications
When you use the website, create an account, place an order, submit a support request, or communicate with us electronically, you consent to receiving electronic communications relating to your account, transactions, Services, security, and these Terms.
Transactional communications are different from promotional communications.
You may opt out of promotional communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the relevant communication, subject to legally permitted exceptions for important service communications.
29. Force Majeure
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, governmental actions, internet or telecommunications failures, widespread cybersecurity incidents, infrastructure failures, labor disruptions, payment-network failures, or other comparable events.
This provision does not affect obligations that cannot legally be suspended or excluded.
30. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of UK, unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection or other laws, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Manchester, United Kingdom.
If you are a consumer located outside United Kingdom, nothing in this section is intended to deprive you of mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to you.
31. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict or exclude any consumer rights, guarantees, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be restricted or excluded.
Where applicable law gives you rights that are more favorable than a provision of these Terms, the applicable legal requirement will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
32. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified or severed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
33. Waiver
A failure by CSExams to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
34. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, corporate reorganization, or transfer of the relevant business, subject to applicable law.
35. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable product information, order details, Privacy Policy, and any other terms expressly incorporated into the relevant purchase, constitute the agreement between you and CSExams regarding the Services.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and product-specific terms expressly presented at the time of purchase, the product-specific terms will apply to the extent of that conflict.
